Depths of Hell



Midnight'mare is a Brazilian dark electro project formed in Rio de Janeiro in 2008 by singer-songwriter, lyricist and producer Lucie. Midnight'mare's music is remarkable for its blending of heavy industrial beats, neoclassical arrangements and the haunting contrast of Lucie's death growls and Eden Seraph's operatic singing. From 2008 to 2009, Venus (The Fraktal) (keyboards) and Mizuh (controllers) joined Midnight'mare (then Midnight'mare Projekt) for two EPs, Modulated and Depths of Hell. On his own, Lucie released two new EPs, Awakening and Aphotic; the title-track of the latter was included on the 9th edition of German gothic music compillation Extreme Sündenfall. In late 2009, classically-trained singer Eden Seraph (by then Fee) joined and Midnight'mare became a duo. Their first concert tour started in São Paulo, opening for international visual-k band GPKism. In 2010, during recording sessions for the full-lenght album Nunc et In Hora Mortis Nostræ, Eden Seraph decided to quit due to artistic differences.
