Early in This World
They’ve been playing together since 1991. As a matter of fact they didn’t have any other choice. They’re not professional musicians (although we’d love to be). They’re working in irrelevant jobs: cook, salesman, couch maker, carpet shopkeeper and taxi driver. In their routine we find time to study music and constantly travel in their universe in order to capture images, emotions, words. With these ingredients they make our songs. They spent thousands of hours rehearsing and gave hundreds of performances in almost every stage in Athens, festivals, rest of Greece, even played in Italy. They opened gigs of Nouvelle Vague, Cousteau, Beth Orton, Idlewild and Qwan. They have recorded tracks for compilations and did well in music contests. Unfortunately they’ve not yet found the way to record our own album, as they want it to be. It’s a matter of money and self-respect. Under these circumstances they feel lucky to have this band keeping our spirit active. Read more on Last.fm.
