Out of the ashes of iamerror and Impatient Outpatient comes Monomate, the solo project of Portland, OR-based musician Pete Bunke, aka PEET. While Monomate's first release, Grand Battle, consisted of the bitcore sound typically associated with PEET, his more recent material from the Negative Emotions/Positive Outlook double album draws from more experimental influences, ranging from noise, industrial, ambient and remix, among others. Previously PEET mentioned he was currently writing and recording the upcoming album Love, or Lack Thereof which draws more from post-hardcore, shoegaze, noise rock, and sludge than his previous work, it is unknown when it will be released and if it was ever cancelled.
