Ms.OOJA is a R&B singer-songwriter. Born in Yokkaichi, Mie-ken, Japan, in October 28, 1982 as the eldest of 4 siblings and at the age of 17, after graduated from local high school, she believed that she had a passion for singing and wanted to pursue a music carreer. In 2006 she moved to Nagoya. She worked at a department store, while she kept singing & performing at the local clubs, and practising dancing & choreography as well. No one knew her real name but known only as Ms.OOJA. Some medias dubbed her debut as a real diva from Nagoya, although she is not Nagoya native. In July the same year, she released her indie debut. Three years later, 2009, she partnered with rapper EL LATINO, and formed the duet EL LATINO & Ms.OOJA. Most of their releases such as LOS 13 ANGELES, S.O.S, and IMPACT were within the rap & hip-hop area. In January 2010, Ms.OOJA released a self-titled CD+DVD indie album. This album is her debut as a sub-unit of the duet, although some of the songs were either collaboration or featuring other artists. The recorded sales is more than 8000 copies.
