Armed with passion, wit, determination and an addictive flow, Mudmowth has been making his name for some time. He’s got something about him that listeners just like. It’s not hard to work out what it is, that’s why they like it. Sometimes you want to know what you’re getting and Mudmowth’s flow doesn’t attempt to outsmart you, it welcomes you into a house that’s hospitable and still hip-hop. His first release, Just To Get The Name Known, has already found the perfect balance: Grimy and shiny. And it’s this that has won him relentless praise from press and radio cross-country. Everything Mud writes is true to the spirit of entertainment (music’s true purpose, ladies and gentlemen…) and carries the appreciated craftwork of a guaranteed “Yes!” reaction when every two bars he’s dropped another well-executed funbomb.
