Neina is the ambient glitch project launched by Japanese keyboardist Hosomi Sakana. Drawing inspiration from Oval, Neina debuted with Formed Verse (Mille Plateaux, 1999), a textbook on the subtle static textures of the genre (Quit Elegance, Diffraction, Symmetry). Subconsciousness (Mille Plateaux, 2000) was their second release. Though Neina is inactive, leader Hosomi currently works with other projects such as Livingstone Daisy. Read more on Last.fm.
