Flex, also known as D.J. Flex or Nigga, was born on August 26, 1980 in Panama. His reggaeton is referred to as Romantic Style In Da World. Flex starting using 'Nigga' when another Panamanian guy told him that he sang like a black guy from Jamaica. When his music and him came to the U.S.A., he was asked to change his name because it is racist for black people. He has won many awards due to his first single called Te Quiero. The title of his first album is Te Quiero:Romantic Style In Da World. The title of his second album is La Evolucion Romantic Style. Some of his music in the album Te Quiero, were great hits of the early and mid 00's. When his music reached the U.S. with his great hit Te Quiero, he was sure to have success. Flex was on El Show De Los Suenos:Amigos Del Alma. He was on the Latin Billboard Charts with 1st place for 20 weeks with his song Te Quiero. Flex had 13 nominations for the Latin Billboard Awards 2009. He was the artist with the most nominations. He only took home 8 awards but that was still the most awards any artist had won that night. He made many remixes to Te Quiero. Flex made a banda remix. He made the spanglish remix and acoustic remix with Belinda. He made another remix with Arcangel. He has worked with other artists such as Pee Wee, Yuri, Kumbia All Starz, Solange, and many more. On his birthday in 2008, he got married to Osiris Vega. Read more on Last.fm.
