There are multiple artists that share this name: 1. Nurse was a female-fronted hardcore band from Japan. 2. The Danish metal band Nurse, was formed early in 2004. The band is known for their melodic sound and kick-ass live shows. The band started out consisting only of four members. They recorded their first demo in May 2005 in Riamufs studio, in a small shitty town called Ribe. The demo was produced and mixed by Asmus Thomsen, a former member of the well-known metal band, Sacrificial. The demo featured the song “Follow her down” which got a lot of attention on some Danish music sites (danishmetal and Mymusic) Later on they decided to improve their sound by adding an extra guitar, and Anders Frodo Stegmann joined the band in November 2005. In April 2006 they recorded their first ep Entitled “Attention-deficit-disorder”. The ep was recorded in the, Smart ‘n’ Hard-studios in Århus. Produced and mixed by Jacob Bredahl, from the thrash-metal band, Hatesphere. Nurse finds inspiration in many great bands such as: Finch, Story of the Year, With Broken Wings, The Used, Senses Fail and many more.
