OMFG, real name Loell Bergen, also going by Alex Savage, is a Canadian music producer who makes electronic music. He is best known for his song Hello which has gained over 200 million views on YouTube since being uploaded on Dec 25, 2014 on the music promotion channel MrSuicideSheep. When Alex first released music under OMFG, many questioned his identity. At first, he used several pictures from a girl named Kylee Boettcher to gain publicity, since not that many female producers exist in comparison to males. For the longest time he pretended to be female, even publishing a Q&A video with Kylee in front of the camera. Once Alex revealed who he was, he later mentioned when asked about the whole situation that Kylee was hired by Alex as an experiment. He wanted to see what would happen if he was the only girl who made this kind of music, as he didn't know anyone else who fit those qualifications and actually existed. After hitting 1 million subscribers on YouTube, OMFG announced that he and his friends are going to release one song peer week under his music label, HappyToast, until he releases his album.
