Kazuho Kawakami, best known as OZIGIRI, is a Japanese musician recognized by his unique blend of grindcore, speedcore, and breakcore, which he dubs Digital Grindcore. Born and raised in Tokyo, he began his musical career in 2006 as a vocalist for the grindcore band Abort Mastication. Two years later, he began the OZIGIRI project to make music outside of the genre constraints of his band. He was quickly discovered by m1dy and M-Project through MySpace, being given the opportunity to release his debut album, 妄想少女, on Mob Squad Black Label. This gave him the push he needed to gain publicity in the speedcore scene, putting out his most renowned work on labels like Psycho Filth Records and Fujimi Industry Records. Kazuho constantly innovates, implementing new elements into his music. Beginning in 2016, he has trended towards integrating other genres into his work, most notably dubstep. In late 2018, he was officially incorporated into Psycho Filth Records, DJ Myosuke's speedcore label. Read more on Last.fm.
