1) Oceania was formed by Sydney-based happy hardcore producers, Chara Cagri Acikgoz and Rebecca Brady in the mid-90s. Oceania wrote produced and engineered their music at Hypersonic Productions in Glebe Point, Sydney. They collaborated with DJs and singers like Kyle Armstrong (DJ Daydream), DJ Ali Omar and Toni T. The best known tune they produced was Taking Me Higher. 2) Oceania is a New Zealand band which combines Maori music and modern music. The band's lead singer is Hinewehi Mohi. Music is written and performed by Mohi and Jaz Coleman of Killing Joke fame. The band consists in Gustavo Drummond on vocals and guitars, Daniel Debarry on bass and Tulio Braga on drums. They already launched several music videos on YouTube and a self-titled EP on Spotify. The band released their first album as a new group called Beneath the Surface on 31st August 2017 and the second album, called Dark Matter, on 11st December 2020.
