Black metal from Los Angeles, founded in 2003 by Jay Valena. Oskoreien's atmospheric debut earned a spot on Invisible Oranges' Best albums of 2011 list, and featured session vocals on two tracks by Matthew Durkee. 2016's concept album All Too Human was a darker exploration of free will and morality through the tragic story of Charles Whitman. After two full-length albums and a split EP with Botanist as a solo project, Valena is now joined by guitarist Rashid Nadjib for a third album, Hollow Fangs. Durkee returns to perform session bass, completing a new iteration of Oskoreien. Read more on Last.fm.
