Rise and Shine



1. A four Piece melodic hardcore band from Perth, Scotland. After 8 years together, playing countless shows and recording several self-financed cds, PMX have developed into one of Scotland’s top melodic punk bands. Having played alongside world renowned bands such as Alexisonfire, Anti-Flag, OPM, Taking Back Sunday and Propagandhi to name a few, the band released their debut album 'Rise and Shine' on 3 independent labels - Bells On Records (Japan, Europe) Milk And Cookies (Canada) and Allstar-Recordings (U.K.). The quartet toured the U.K., Canada, and Europe to promote the album. In 2006 Pmx were selected to play the Taste Of Chaos Tour in Glasgow. The band went on to win Ernie Balls International Battle Of The Bands Competition, winning £10,000 of equipment from sponsors. The band went on hiatus for 8 years. In 2014 Pmx released a 25 minute song titled The Ballad of Tony Montana which was released on Bells On Records in Japan.
