There are at least four artists with the name Pedro: 1. PEDRO is the side solo project from BiSH’s Ayuni D as vocalist, bassist and lyricist, alongside prolific Japanese musician, Tabuchi Hisako (ex. Number Girl, Bloodthirsty Butchers) on guitar, and Mohri Shota on drums. 2. Pedro Mauricio (formally known as KKing Kong and stylized as PEDRO) is an artist, producer and former DJ who was born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal. His biggest influence is the electronic/dance project Buraka Som Sistema. After releasing several tracks on the Enchufada label, he is known as the New Lisbon. His message is to show how unique the cultural fusion is in Lisbon, and since his fame has grown he's collaborated with artists such as Rincon Sapiência, Carlão, Pedro Mafama, Branko, and Dino D’Santiago. He has an EP album and a single under the name Pedro (Pedro EP released in 1999 and Chapel Was My Dream in 2001). He also goes by the name Vowels. He has collaborated and remixed with other artists such as: Bloc Party, Danger Mouse, Fever Ray, Ellie Goulding and MGMT (to name a few).
