Pefkin is British psych-folk musician Gayle Brogan (née Gayle Harrison). In addition to recording as Pefkin, Brogan has been a member of Electroscope and Meadowsilver, and recorded as Alison O'Donnell & Gayle Brogan. Brogan first came into the spotlight as a member of Electroscope with John Cavanagh and by printing the Boa fanzine. Boa eventually morphed into Boa Melody Bar/ Boa records. She co-runs Curiously Euphonic records. From 1996-2000, Brogan was one-half of the duo Electroscope with John Cavanagh. In 2019, the band Meadowsilver, of which she is a member, began releasing material. In 2022, she released an album as Alison O'Donnell & Gayle Brogan. Read more on Last.fm.
