Penetracija is a four-member Lugar metal band formed in 2009 in Našice, Croatia. The band consists of Hrvoje Maretić on bass and vocals, Ivan Gelenčir on guitar and vocals, Marko Galetić on bass, and Matija Jurković on drums. Born out of dissatisfaction with their surroundings—alcohol, drugs, foresters, VW Golf I and II, bad music, loose women, and other vices—the band channels their frustration into their music. With five albums and over 40 standout hits, they humorously yet pointedly celebrate values like binge drinking, indulgence, sex, and metal. Now based in Zagreb, Penetracija is a unique blend of parody and performance, landing somewhere between Metallica, Tenacious D, and Slayer. They're a band not to be taken too seriously, yet impossible to ignore. The new album, titled “Poslije Mise,” is coming out via Tone Deaf Inc. on August 16, 2024.
