There are multiple artists that go by this name: 1. Cameron Marshall, also known as phonon, is a dubstep, electronica, and jazz producer most known for his song polyriddim. On January 20th, 2021 Marshall was signed to Prodigy Artists and United Talent Agency. Marshall has released on Bassweight Records, Bewildered Productions, Cyclops Recordings, FORM, Full Flex Audio, Halcyon, Odio Records, and Savage Society Records. 2. Los Angeles DJ/producer Ryan Jones brings a unique sound to the table that bridges the gap between the slick minimal techno sounds of Europe and the rollercoaster peaks and builds of the United States techno scene. Ever since he was a child, Ryan was experimenting with synths and drum machines, and as he grew older so did his love for the pure techno environment. After being immersed in the SoCal rave scene of the 90s, Ryan began producing under the name 'Phonon' and received critical acclaim from international peers for his distinct hard yet funky approach to techno. His attention to minute details and care of all elements of production make him something of a surgical producer but the natural vibes of the music shine through in every track. As a DJ, Ryan plays music that reflects his own production choices - from quirky and minimal, to full-on hard, to funky and electro-influenced. He has held residencies at Mixture (Hollywood) and Pleasure Chest (West Hollywood) and continues his quest of exposing people to new and creative music.
