Pianoman is an alias of dance music producer James Sammon from Bradford, West Yorkshire who shot to number 6 in the UK Charts with the hit single “Blurred” in June 1996. His follow up to Blurred released on 3 Beat Records was from a Belinda Carlisle sample of “Live Your Life Be Free” and was titled “Party People” and narrowly missed a place in the Top 40. 2.) Classical artist who prefers to remain anonymous Dutch Record Company had the privilege to get to know the classical artist Pianoman as he was and still is a regular visitor of the recording studio Studio van Schuppen located in the Netherlands. For fun Pianoman started playing the Steinway Grand Piano used in the recording studio and loved it. Friend and recording engineer/producer Jochem Geene secretly recorded some of the late night improvisations he was performing and asked him about his opinion to release these on a CD. His answer was clear: the label Dutch Record Company was allowed to release an album containing some of his best improvisations but without mentioning his real name. Secondly he insisted that all earnings should be used for new future recordings of young and gifted musicians. Pianoman authorized his friend Jochem Geene to look after all business interests due to this release.
