Audiences are left surprised by the group’s clever lyrics, polished flows, and grimy production, qualities often missing from the city’s artists. “If you be yourself, you don’t have to worry about being different. We don’t remind you of anyone.” Quotable’s members have performed, battled, and appeared on radio stations from Texas to Florida, building a respectable following in the Southern hip-hop scene. Earlier this year, Quotable entered Okayplayers' True Notes contest, and their submission was ranked 4th among 4,000+ entries. Quotable is also part of the New Orleans collective, The N.O.vators. Last year, they released a compilation of original material, Crescent City Classic Vol.1. Not only was it a success locally, but it received glowing reviews in national publications.
