There are two Rayuelas, the first one was a short-lived Argentine Progressive Rock band that released their sole album in 1978. The second Rayuela: Guillaume Contré a.k.a. Rayuela started producing electronic music a few years ago. His pieces are mixing a background from his work in the acousmatic/electro-acoustic music field, with various elements of minimal techno, IDM and electronica. His work focus on integrating his large musical willingness, embracing a wide experience in various sonic context, through the filter of a weird but tangible & groovy minimal techno. He aims to create tracks that could both provide a pure listening enjoyment as much as being good tools for any fearless dj's. Rayuela is also a wild and personal live-act evolving through minimalism and hypnotism, creating a modern free dance music psychedelia. He's a musician active in various context, but with allways the same purpose of creative & personal music: acousmatic composition (graduated from the Perpignan Conservatory of music, in the Denis Dufour classes), interpretor of acousmatic music on the acousmonium (orchestra of loudspeaker) for the Futura festival each year, bass player (2000-03) in the cross-borders rock unit Absinthe (Provisoire)- with whom he has recorded an album in Chicago in august 2002, drone- like work in the minimalist improvisation trio SAP(e) wich have released two albums, collaborations with dancers, actors & videos in various multimedia works, etc...
