Renata, from Hartford, CT recently off an independent national tour has shared the stage with such acts as Avril Lavingne, Ashlee Simpson, Howie Day, Tyler Hilton, Gary Jules and most recently with Lifehouse. With their 2004 independent release The Other Side of Earth, Renata has been able to spread their music throughout the country. Having been added to the I-Tunes catalog and several other online Internet music resources, Renata continues to sell records, tour and headline regional markets. Renata has also appeared on Connecticut's largest radio station 96.5 TIC-FM where they have performed live and has had material added in daytime rotation. The Gary Craig Morning show and 96.5 Tic have shown the band much support over the years. With their extreme work ethic Renata has won such honors as Conneticut's Hartford Advocate Best Original Group 2001, Best Pop Rock and Best Male vocalist 2002, and 2003's Best Original Rock band. In early 2005 renata started a great relationship with Jeff Blue and Blue Ladder Productions. Jeff Blue is best known for his work with Linkin Park, Macy Gray, and his illustrious career in the music business both at major record labels and in the publishing field.
