RiffMusicPony is attending Cypress College and is pursuing his Associate of Arts in music production for film. Picking up his first guitar at 5 years old, and then dropping it to play video games, and picking it back up again at the age of 12 was the beginning of a magnificent journey. Setting his standards at virtuoso levels, David spent his high school years meticulously practicing and practicing and practicing his speed and technique at the guitar. On June 25, 2012 RiffMusicPony dropped his first album entitled Allegro. He eventually went on to accompany as a rythm guitarist and featured guitarist respectively alongside the Cypress College Vocal Recitals, and scoring 1st place in both years consecutively. Inspired by Jason Becker's brilliant change of pace during his battle against A.L.S. Riff turned to orchestral compositions. His first request for original score was with the student film documentary Cosplay: Behind the craft; which also won best documentary award at the Cypress College Film Festival. He now has 14 albums under his belt and has scored 3 short films. Oh and he asked to mention that all of his entire discography is available for free download with bonus content on Bandcamp.
