1) Rootvälta is a reggae band from Borlänge in the county of Dalarna, Sweden. The band was founded in 1988. The band has released four albums to date. Their name is taken from the Swedish word Rotvälta, meaning windthrow, but spelled with a double 'o' as a reference to roots. 2) Last.fm incorrectly re-directs the HDK 93 † dungeon synth project ROTVÄLTA to this page. The eight bucolic tracks on this album entitled Excursions in the Swedish forest were composed by an anonymous musician in an unspecified year, probably for a promotional documentary from the Swedish Ministry of Tourism. Anyway, you don't need to have too much information to enjoy this sweet album: we recommend that you let yourself be guided by the music in an imaginary excursion among fir and birch trees, crystal clear waterways and pleasant landscapes, to discover the dazzling beauty of Scandinavian nature. https://heimatderkatastrophe.bandcamp.com/album/hdk-93-utflykter-i-den-svenska-skogen Read more on Last.fm.
