The Human and the World: The Retrospective of the Modern




SKAARJ is an electronic project from Ukraine. It is an attempt to create a new staff by mixing old-school 70-80th ambient with some elements of industrial, techno and noise in a conceptual album. The first album “The human and the world: the retrospective of the modern” is like a side look at the modern globalized world and a story about a man inside it, who tries to find himself. SKAARJ uses outdated software and samples from old CDs (most of them are made before 1997), analogue synthesizers and 8-track editor on the special assembled computer with Windows 95 to get the true old-school sound of the 20th century ;-) Read more on Last.fm.
