After posting his first track there, he started gaining popularity in the underground sphere of SoundCloud in 2018. ssgkobe is also close to rappers born from this platform like Summrs, Autumn!, JustDeuce, Kankan, Lil Tecca, Pasto Flocco, and even SoFaygo, with whom he often works with. He is also supported by Elan Bia — who often directs his video clips — and Zack Bia; two figures known for their involvement in the music world as DJs, and who also worked with Virgil Abloh.
