Romanian born producer Alex Cobe or Sub:liminal’s passion for music started at a very young age by learning to play the guitar. Originated from Oradea, between 2007-2008 he developed a passion for Drum & Bass. The interest for this music genre was generated by the underground vibes and parties of the city in that moment. In 2014 he started to play Drum & Bass on local parties around the city mixing soulful liquid vibes. Somewhere in 2017 he created his own label night imprint ‘Apple Room Drum & Bass’ gaining beautiful editions through the years. His journey into music production began somewhere around 2018. His sound is inspired by old & new liquid artists among the scene. His debut EP ’Space & Time’ on Fokuz Recordings was released in April 2020 and gained wide support from artists like: High Contrast, Doc Scott, Muffler, DJ Aphrodite, Dexcell, A-Sides, Philth, Melinki, Random Movement. He started to work on his second EP ‘Around The World’ with HumaNature and Resurgence which was released on Fokuz Recordings in July 2020 and gained wide support from artists like: Doc Scott, Dave Owen, Bredren, Anthony Kasper, Incident.
