Sellasouls is a hisspanic rapper from Virginia that is often argued as the pioneer of hissing in rap. By using diaphragmatic breathing, Sellasouls is able to deliver vocals in contorted whispers that sound like hisses from a snake. By putting these vocals over dark and ominous beats, you get what is the Sellasouls' sound. In interviews Sellasouls has claimed that his music is influenced by demons and that he is one of the only rappers that isn't faking his rituals. His lyrics (when provided) often contain worship of deities and claims of curse wielding. These rituals are not limited to cutting himself and bleeding onto sigils, as he stated that during the making of his project 'am iii pretty?' he ripped two teeth out of his mouth and offered them to a deity. Outside of his religious beliefs, Sellasouls is the founder of the collective known as 666HOULTR4P. He founded this group shortly after leaving Jewelxxet, which had been where he previously found success.
