There are at least two artists known as sevenlies: 1. sevenlies is an Italian ambient musician. 2. Founded in the beginning of 2010, the hard rock outfit “SevenLies” gets away from the extreme Metal constraints of their previous projects with the debut EP “scars and phobias”. The first disk of the newcomers from Aalen shows clearly that they avoid strict borders regarding other genres. There’s not only snotty rock, but also alternative metal and at times you can listen to quiet, acoustic sounds. The quintet from Southern Germany was brought into being by guitarist and songwriter Lucien and vocalist Jean-Jaque. Drummer Jonas, guitarist Luka and Max (bass) completed the line-up and after promising gigs and an intense phase of songwriting, the first fruit of their hard work can be reaped in the form of a debut EP.
