"Loop di Love" is a schlager pop song written by German musicians Dieter Dierks and Michael Schepior. It was first recorded in 1971 by J. Bastós, whose version became a hit in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands. "Loop di Love" was then recorded by English musician and entrepreneur Jonathan King, who released it in August 1972 on his UK record label under the pseudonym Shag. King's vocals were treated electronically for the record, and it was arranged by Johnny Arthey. The version by Shag reached no.4 on the UK singles chart. Read more on Last.fm.

There are at least three artists / acts called Shag. 1. Shag is a young hip-hop producer from Ft. Worth, Texas. His production is mainly sample-based, though he has been known to make sample-free music as well. As of May, 2012, he has released 19 beat tapes. His newest release, Revolution, was released through Cult Classic Records on May 20. 2. Shag was one of many aliases of British pop producer and songwriter, Jonathan King.
