There are multiple artists called Shem: 1) DJ Shem was born 1987 in Brooklyn, Ny. Raised in southwestern CT. He's been a fan of dance music since a youngster, born listening to KTU and 90′s dance, freestyle too when rap was good(nas, busta, jay, em, dre snoop, the rest). Then came Trance in late 90′s that spewed out a rage for high BPMs and sonic sounding synth’s that captivated him. Progressive trance by of course Armin & Tiesto, but very imporantly Cosmic Gate, svenson & gielen, Sander van doorn, Marco v, and Marcell woods as well as all the hard trance guys. Mid 2000 about 2005 or so he caught the house fever. It started because of the electro style of house, he got hooked. It spread like wild fire to what today’s Dj Shem is made of. EDM. His range is from trance to tech house to dubstep and even throw in a bit of dnb and tribal.
