Mohamed Shius, commonly known among his friends and fans as 'Shiuz' is a musician who is well known in the Maldives for his unique music style and stage performance. As the son of a famous local musician (Mr. Hasan Di - [Qucik Sand] and [BC Band]), Shiuz grew up 'within' the art of arranging sound in time shortly described as Music. When asked to Shiuz by a good friend of him on what actually was the reason for him to be interest of music; his reply was God bestow humans with various talents. Ever since I believe mine was music, I've tried to improve myself in it for I believe anything is possible if you are well disciplined and dedicated towards it. That's what makes me who I'm now Shiuz's hit singles include Ey Malaa Ishqee released in 1998, followed by Ronee Ey - 1999, Beehilumakun - 2001, Hudhu Raalhu and Heeviyey in 2005. Not to acknowledge the famous songs performed by TAS Band where Shiuz also is the lead vocalist. Although Piano was the first instrument that interested him, he usually plays the Acoustic Guitar and has no specific genre, which will let his fans hear his various styles of music in his first solo album that is to be released in 2009.
