Critical Annihilation (Video Game Soundtrack)



Benjamin Dunkerley is a multi-faceted music composer, producer, foley artist and DJ. His eight years of music production experience have culminated in two main creative endeavours: Shurk (2014-present), and most recently, COMANAVAGO (2019-present), a collaborative effort between Ben and vocalist, Gabriel Swarbrick. He specialises in forward thinking electronic pop music production and contemporary experimentalism within the popular music sphere. In 2019 he graduating with a BMus (Hons) in Creative Music Technology at the University of Surrey in 2019, winning the Ableton Live Performance Prize. Four months later he toured China with Chinese pop star FiFi Rong, playing a total of 5 shows including the Asia launch of W Records, a new musical endeavour by the 5 star W Hotel (Marriott Group) brand. Benjamin’s first commercial success was his 2015 EDM single, ‘Haunted‘ which was discovered by legendary YouTuber, ‘Markiplier‘, who to this day uses the song as his outro, amassing millions of views of a daily basis. Ben then went on to compose the OST for the popular Steam minigame, ‘Critical Annihilation‘. Read more on Last.fm.
