Create Your Own Hell
The long awaited third album from Skafield, Create Your Own Hell, has been released on September 8, 2006 on Leech Records/Cargo. Three years after the critically acclaimed predecessor, Smiling at the Tragedy, Create Your Own Hell promises, with twelve songs, exactly what one can expect from Skafield: their own mix of punkrock, hardcore, and ska, this time more explosive than ever! The horn-section, the off-beat, and the heavy guitars make Create Your Own Hell the logical continuation of the first two albums, combining their toughness and melody. With a new singer and new energy, the band went into the SU2 Studio in April 2006 where, with producer Phil Hillen, the album was recorded(wenn das eingespielt auf deutsch heisst). The disc went directly afterwards to Fort Collins/USA where Jason Livermore (Good Riddance, Less Than Jake) mastered the album. The band's hard-hitting skapunk, how Benno (Leech Records) the band's style once so aptly described, leaves a lasting impression on every concertgoer. The energy-loaded liveshow renews the fans' enthusiasm everytime and makes them and the band break a sweat! Read more on Last.fm.
