Spinscott (Jungle Plus Drums / Dynamix Records / Jungletrain.net) is a DJ, producer, and lifelong drummer who has been actively involved in the Jungle / Drum & Bass scene since the mid 1990s. His productions currently focus on authentic jungle vibes, combined with some footwork influence and always an obsessive dedication to rhythmic accuracy. As a DJ, he has performed sets around the USA, combining new original tracks with classic jungle topped off with 100% loop-free real-time drum machine action. Spinscott has attracted worldwide attention through his “Live Jungle MPC” video series that showcases freestyle jungle on the MPC drum machine. He uses intricately chopped drum breaks and samples to add a unique live element to DJ sets, effectively creating the “Jungle Plus Drums” format, which is also the name of his weekly radio show on Jungletrain.net. Spinscott also has several releases on the Dynamix Records label, including The Rhythmic Induction EP, Limbic System/Trust Me, and recent footwork jungle tracks Blow My Mind, No Control, and others.
