Virus of the Mind



Starkill is a symphonic melodic death metal act from Chicago, Illinois. They were originally called Ballistika and released one demo Immersed In Chaos in 2009. Then they changed their name to Massakren in February 2010. Under Massakren they released one full length and one EP. The members met and began writing material in 2008, eventually signing to Century Media Records on 14 December 2012 and releasing Fires Of Life on 16 May 2013. Finally in 2012, they became Starkill. The band has incorporated many different musical styles, leading critics and fans to label them as melodic death metal power metal, thrash metal, and symphonic black metal.
