Streetgazer is an independent dreamwave/synthwave artist, a zeek (80s nerd/loner, unpopular kid at school) with low self-esteem, constantly learning synthwave musician from Jyväskylä, Finland. Emerging from the same town with acts like Nightstop and Ferus Melek, Streetgazer was formed in 2017 after persuasion of numerous musician-friends of his. Gazing to the streets since the 80s, inspired by video games, 80s fashion and movie/series soundtracks like in Miami Vice, he started to create music with his favourite instrument: synthesizer. Roads, neon lights, cars passing by and rainy skies. The silent hero, Streetgazer seeks the right streets with worm holes to travel back in time to the eighties and getting back with immersive, dreamy synth music. Streetgazer is fully in love with 80s synths and blurry neon lights. Hugely inspired by 80s synth pop and modern acts like The Midnight, Sunglasses Kid, Timecop1983 and Lazerhawk.
