Supergroove are a funk rock band from New Zealand. Their career (1992-1997, 2007-present) saw them release 2 albums, Traction and Backspacer (the latter which was released after the band fired singer Che Fu & trumpeter Tim Stewart); plus and EP, a remix album (by DLT), and a best-of. After their split several former members of the band went on to form another NZ group called Svelte and Che Fu started a successful solo career in hip hop. The original Supergroove lineup reformed to support Crowded House at three New Zealand shows in October 2007. They have subsequently continued to tour, playing gigs and festivals in New Zealand and overseas. Read more on Last.fm.
