superterz stands for live-sampling and recycling, for abolition of the antagonism between electronic and acoustic music. it is an ambitious goal for the band to create an own musical language: superterz continually move frayed, alienated, distorted and reinterpreted sound fragments into new surroundings from which a new darkly shimmering sound world comes into existence. the music pretend to be simple, but every time new traces can be discovered, breaks and changes fit cogently. these are animated noise installations where deconstructed disco fragments also find their well lighted place. likewise the music live from images and allusions with a delayed-action effect. it is the own sound that constitutes the characteristics and the appeal of superterz.
