줄래 (feat. 서인국) - Single
There are two artists called Swings: 1) Swings is a South Korean rapper. Formerly under the label Brand New Music, he is currently contracted under PSY's label P Nation. He is also the founder of the labels Just Music, Indigo Music, Mine Field, Sugar Beats, and What You Need. All these labels are under the holdings company AP Alchemy, that used to also hold WEDAPLUGG Records before it closed down. He (alongside Giriboy) became the owner of WEDAPLUGG Records after getting the name from Lil Cherry and Goldbuuda in 2018. WEDAPLUGG Records shut down in 2024. Swings debuted in 2008 with the extended play Upgrade. He joined the hip hop group Uptown in 2009 but left by the end of the year. He released his first full-length album, Growing Pains, in 2010. 2) Swings is a trio of old friends who sound like an indie rock band coated in teeth-rotting pop hooks timed to asymmetrical, loose jazz rhythm. Hailing from Washington, DC, the band knowingly avoids the stifling nostalgia that permeates less memorable acts. Jamie Finucane (guitar, vocals) and Dan Howard (percussion) have been creative partners since meeting via middle school baseball, and their band solidified a few years later when Zach Lewton joined on bass. Despite recently entering their twenties, Swings display a feverish prolificacy, endlessly shedding stayed sonic shells before they become safe and stale. Read more on Last.fm.
