TIX is a Norwegian singer/songwriter and the biggest producer of russemusic in Norway. He was raised in Bærum outside of Oslo in Norway and have made multiple of the most streamed songs in Norwegian the last couple of years. Andreas Haukeland[1] (born 12 April 1993[2]), most known as Tix (stylized as TIX), is a Norwegian musician, producer and songwriter from Bærum, Norway. He got his breakthrough in 2015 with his russ song titled Sjeiken 2015. In 2016, he released his debut album Dømt og berømt, which consists of russ songs. He has six number-one singles on the Topplista chart in Norway. He represented Norway at the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song Fallen Angel. In March 2022, he released his second studio album Enten går det bra, ellers går det over. He has Tourette syndrome, a condition characterised by involuntary movements called tics. During his childhood he was bullied for his condition and called tics, which he later turned into his stage name.[3] Besides being a musician, Andreas is a mental health awareness advocate, and has shared his experiences with suffering from Tourette syndrome, loneliness and suicidal thoughts.
