TX2, also known as Evan is a 5'4 man whore who slits his wrists. He makes Industryplantcore and Shitcore, and most of his TikTok persona is him trying to find goth dommy mommies and bait reactions. The band has been vocal about both being part of the LGBTQ community and being allies, playing at protests and speaking about LGBTQ rights at their shows. They also use their YouTube and TikTok platforms to spread these messages, along with their support of mental health and equality. They’ve also spoken out about the dangers of minors interacting with older musicians, with Thomas especially advocating for the safety of younger fans of any artist. The members of the band include; Lead singer - Timothy Evan Thomas (@tx2official), the owner of the name and original member of TX2. He released solo music under the name starting with his first single in 2018 before meeting the other members and working as a band. Guitarist and backup vocals - Cameron “Cam” Rostami (@superblood_cam), Thomas’ best friend and roommate, he also releases his own music under the name Superblood. Bass - Courtney “Corky” Howard (@corky_lee_). She releases her own music under the name Corky. Drummers have always been session/tour hires - Sam Palombo (@sampalombo). Played the Festival Tour. Before drumming for TX2, he played for band Blame Candy and the artist Poppy. - Ethan Church (@ethanchurchmusic). Played the Cruel World Tour and Crown of Thorns Tour. Some of their most popular songs include Randy McNally (No Love Like Christian Hate), Vampire By Rumor, Swing At Me, and Black Wedding. The songs are mostly written about Thomas’ experiences, past issues, and injustices he “feels he has the right to speak about”. Hits such as Pull the Plug and So Numb are examples of this, both being written about heavy topics. He attributes their music to influences such as the bands Green Day, My Chemical Romance, Get Scared, Hollywood Undead, and Ice Nine Kills. The band puts amazing amounts of effort into interacting with their fanbase, with Thomas and Rostami hosting livestreams to chat with fans every day on TikTok and YouTube, and being active in their Discord server. Thomas has stated that they try to keep their tour tickets cheap and shows all ages to ensure that anyone is able to attend. They also have always stayed late after every concert to meet with every fan for free, sometimes lingering for hours after late shows to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to meet the artists. TX2 has amassed almost 600k monthly listeners on Spotify, 940k followers via TikTok and 190k followers via Instagram, as well as a Discord server known as the X Movement as a place for fans to make friends and have a safe space.
