Complete Drone Works
A palm for Tears to land on. NaPalm made entirely of processed Tears. Palm-tearing applause to life's oddities. Stigmata that was there last morning. --- Bio in English: Tearpalm is a sonic cocoon knit to fit the needs of mr M. D.- a writer, art historian, and guitarslinger/founder member of short-lived Serbian alternative bands Future Zen Terror and Paganska ljubav. The idea behind Tearpalm was to go beyond discursive limitations of routine pop treatment of musicmaking, by employing exploration of psychedelic potentials of frequency tweaking, software based simulations of tape loop/sound collage techniques and manipulating of previously recorded tracks much rather than playing live instruments. The results can be heard on debut album Prijatelj sa Duhovima Mesta, released in September of 2008. for pioneer ex-Yugoslavian indie label Listen Loudest, from Zagreb, Croatia. It's a double CD release, first disc containing Tearpalm originals, while second is made of remixes done by fellow artists such as Figurative Theatre, Lezet, Third I, Margita je mrtva and DeepArtMent. During March of 2008, Tearpalm joins two other Serbian industrial/noise acts, Figurative Theatre and Third I for a series of live shows, played under the slogan All in One Theatre. Tearpalm is currently working on stage strategies for forthcoming shows. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
