Tecas Miguel Garcia, known by her stage name Titica (Luanda, June 26, 1987), is an Angolan singer, songwriter, dancer and activist who became an icon of the kuduro style in 2011, following the release of her first album record work, entitled Chão…, of which the main working song (“Chão”) became in a few months the most played song in the history of this musical genre on radio stations in Angola. In the same year, Titica received the Kuduro Revelation Artist award, given by Rádio Escola. With the success of her first work as a singer, in 2012, Titica was nominated for the Best Female Artist of Southern Africa category at the KORA All Africa Music Awards, the main award for music artists on the African continent.
