You can find their first song Living on the Blessed and Cursed complilation album, in a Last chance remix by Dimitris Papaspyropoulos (Dec 2004). Since then they've done various live acts, performing in several places and events. In the beginning of 2008 two of Transistor members (Maria & Niki), composed the soundtrack for the theatrical play Sto Vytho, directed by Roula Pateraki and produced by the National Theater. Lead vocalist Patrick Davis met lead guitarist Drew Sikes on a music app and they quickly realized they lived in the exact same building. Some would say it was meant to be. Drummer JT Ward and bassist Mason Richardson joined shortly thereafter to round out an indie rock sound that is at once nostalgic and new. Together, the band recorded and released their debut EP 'The Palace' in 2019 and began playing shows in Alabama and Tennessee. Transistor is a Belgian pop rock band with Frederik Meuris as the main songwriter. His quirky lyrics are Transistor's main trademark, as are the catchy melodies in their eclectic range of songs. Meuris sings in Dutch, a debut album is planned for 2024 and was preceded by the singles Calippo, Te Jong Om Oud Te Zijn and Prijsbeest. Transistor consists of Frederik Meuris (vocals and guitar), Stijn Debontridder (guitar), Sam Bergen (bass), Femke Govaerts (keys and backing vocals) and Jozefien Feyaerts (drums).
