https://root.theworkpc.com/music/preview?img=http://www.myspace.com/uncoremusic Uncore developed from 2 splitted Budweiser bands called Glowing and Hot Nails in autumn 2001. The original band`s line-up was Ivo (voc), Vladan (g), Stipke (dr) and Lukas (bg) - all of them with long term experience from their former bands. The very first concert came off in december 2001 followed by quite regular touring both in Czech Republic and abroad. In spring 2002 a 3-song demo CD Tech Still is recorded. The music sound is influenced by american nu-metal scene and the band is touring with bands with similar sound. Stipke leaves for spending some months in London in summer 2002 so that the rest of the band is working on new material. After Stipke`s return the band plays some more shows but then Ivo decides to leave the band in september 2003 which (seen by optics of today) means a very long band`s break. The time of frustration and neverending looking for his replacement starts. After unsuccessful new singer-competition Lukas tries to sing but the final sound of the band is not satisfied enough. The effort is interrupted by Vladan`s 4 months staying abroad. After coming back there is no more energy to continue in such incomplete line-up. The band might still keep some rehearsals but in fact Uncore splits spontaneously in spring 2005. The good times start in autumn 2005 since after the half a year of non-existence the band`s reunion comes. The main impuls is the new bass player Cecil (H.A.T.E.!) who joins the band and starts to participate in writing new, total different music material. After the last vain trial to find a new singer Vladan enters this position whereby the present line-up is fixed as a trio as follows: Stipke (dr), Cecil (bg) and Vladan (g, voc). The band moves up to much more melodical sound and comes near to the emo music scene by still keeping groovy rhytms and heavy riffs. In march 2006 a new promo CD Powl Pown: Ordonance is recorded which the band gets pretty good reviews of. Uncore finally can start to play their powerful live shows again. The present style is marked as emo-stoner rock. Read more on Last.fm. User-contributed text is available under the Creative Commons By-SA License; additional terms may apply.
