Vectom was a speed metal / thrash metal band from Bavaria, Germany that formed in 1983. They wrote songs about evil, death, metal, insanity and women. In 1984, they released a live album called Death Invasion. They also released a demo called Lady Killer in 1984. They released two full-length albums in 1985 and 1986. They released Speed Revolution in 1985 and Rules of Mystery in 1986. In 1992, they released a demo called Satellites. Vectom disbanded in 1993. Their last known lineup consisted of Jens Froemert (vocals), Stefan Kroll (guitars), Horst Götz (guitars), Heinz Schafferhans (bass) and Wolfgang Sonhütter (drums). Scratchcore was the last label they were signed to. In 2006, the label Days of Yore released Speed Revolution / Rules of Mystery, a compilation of their only two full-length albums.
