Horizons
Palmer N. Hogen, is a 19 year old electro/house, dubstep, and trance producer born January 28th, 1996. His musical career began as being classically trained in piano since the age of 9. When he was 12, he decided to start trying to produce some of the trance and hardstyle music that he had been listening to. Later, Palmer says that he and his friends stumbled upon dubstep. At first they poked fun at it for its almost humorous sound, this unknowingly starting his journey into the genre. He produced his first professionally released song under the name “Vexare”, which was an electro/house remix of “Broken Circuit”, by Alpay Sahingoez, in the summer of 2010. He then began making some melodic dubstep, and began making his electro songs heavier. While exploring dubstep artists such as Borgore and Excision, he found appreciation for more distorted sounds, which led him to produce songs with more ominous textures and heavier bass-lines.
