There are several artists with the name Vivid or ViViD: 1. Vivid (stylised as ViViD) was a five-member Japanese visual kei rock band from Tokyo, formed in March 2009. The group was signed to Epic Records Japan, a label under Sony Music Japan. On January 28, 2015, the band announced that they would disband following the final concert of their last tour in April. --- 2. Vivid was a German alternative rock band from Salzgitter, active from 1991 to 2002. The band's name was inspired by an album title from Living Colour. They began performing locally and recorded a mix-CD in 1994. With the help of producer Jens Krause, they created a demo that led to a contract with Virgin Records after blending their grunge sound with electronic elements. Their debut album, recorded in Malta, was released in 1997, followed by performances at major festivals such as the SWF3 New Pop Festival and Rock am Ring. In 1998, they received the Echo award’s Hamburg Newcomer Prize. Their second album, Sundown to Sunrise, came out in 1999, and their final album, Auto All, was released in 2001 before the band disbanded the following year. Vivid’s music featured pop-rock structures, electronic loops, and melancholic vocals, often described as alternative pop. Their sound drew comparisons to early Simple Minds and Killing Joke. The band described their style as rock music enhanced with computer sounds, distancing themselves from metal or crossover labels. --- 3. Vivid is an all-female indie rock band from Macedonia, formed in January 2006. The lineup includes Dora (vocals), Jasna (bass guitar and backing vocals), Eli (guitar), Irena (guitar), and Chadik (drums). Their style blends indie, rock, and emo elements. --- 4. Vivid is a German trance music project that released a single titled Love Again in 2005. The project featured producer Matthias Max (also known as Mind One) and vocalist Verena Rösch. --- 5. Vivid was another Japanese visual kei band, active from 1999 to 2003. The band released several singles, including 星ノ砂 and S・O・S, as well as the maxi-singles Cinderella and セキララ. They also released a full-length album titled Magic in 2001. The members were Keita (vocals), Eiji (guitar), Yu-jin (guitar), Takeshi (bass), and Koju (drums). Read more on Last.fm.
