Winterkälte, members Eric de Vries, Udo Wiessmann A complex architecture of hypnotic sounds and rhythms in steady turns. Pounding beats define Winterkälte's unique style of abstract aggression, of which the main target is the whole central nervous system and all its neural connectors. Obliterating, generally pummelling non-stop rhythms melded with heavy electronics to result in a violent distorted and blurring circle of noise. Winterkälte is a Post-Industrial Distorted Beat project of Udo Wiessmann (founder of the record label Hands Productions) and Eric de Vries. They specialize in environmentally themed powernoise with beat-driven distorted music. Winterkälte has six releases, among them three full lengths (Structures of Destruction, Drum 'n Noise, and Disturbance) as well as three EPs (the vinyl only self-titled release and Progressive and Greenwar).
