Split Release - EP



There are 2 bands named Wipes. 1. Wipes is a noise rock band from the Lehigh Valley region of Pennsylvania, United States formed in 2021. The band is made up of Ray Gurz (vocals, bass), Matt Molchany (guitar), and Michael Dumoff (drums). Gurz and Dumoff have previously played together in Lehigh Valley noise-punk bands Tile and Bad American, while Molchany recorded material for those bands at his Bethlehem, PA recording studio, Shards. As Tile's guitarist took on more adult responsibilities which took him away from the band, Gurz and Dumoff began playing with Molchany, giving birth to Wipes. In November 2021, Wipes released their first 7” on Limited Appeal Records, Dumpster b/w You're the Boss. Their debut album, Making Friends, was recorded in late 2021 and early 2022, and is due for release on Hex Records in the fall of 2022.
